I am married to a wonderful man, Bob, who has encouraged and supported me throughout the process of writing my books. My two daughters are a joy, my stepson is a shining example of a good husband and father, and my seven grandchildren are real treasures.
I love to read! It's been a passion of mine ever since I can remember. From Dick and Jane (dating myself??) watching Spot run, to the Bible, and a lot of books between.
Books, newspapers, magazines, articles, blogs...I read everything. If I had a photographic memory, I'd be brilliant. Alas, I'm just an average person with a love of the printed word.
Stories have always flitted through my mind, even as a child. I can remember a story I wrote in grade school telling about myself. In proudly relating that I was born in the San Joaquin Valley in California, I wrote the Sand Walking Valley. It made sense to me!!
Of course, later my stories were more about the alpha hero saving the damsel in distress. Now we know that the heroine can be a strong woman, but maybe still like to be saved by a hunky cowboy.
